Q. Do you give estimates before repairing?
A. An estimate can be given if requested by the customer.
Q. Do you collect & deliver?
A. We can collect & deliver any repairs either using our fleet of vans within London or courier services nationwide.
Q. How long will the repair take?
A. Fax/printer repairs are carried out within 8 working hours of call being booked, for other items our aim is a maximum 48 hour turn around, however occasionally it can exceed this if parts are not readily available.
Q. Are your repairs guaranteed?
A. All repairs carry a 3 month guarantee.
Q. Are prices inclusive of vat?
A. No! All prices are ex VAT. VAT (17.5%) will be added to the total.
Q. Do prices include parts?
A. No! Parts are not included unless stated otherwise.
Q. Do you hold parts in stock?
A. We hold a large stock of parts enabling us to repair items very quickly.
Q. Are repairs carried out on site or does the equipment have to come to your workshop?
A. Our engineers can carry out on site repairs on most equipment within the London Area.
Q. What’s the difference between service & maintenance?
A. Service is the repair of a machine which is charged for when repaired. Maintenance is an annual contract which allows for unlimited repairs to any machine & is inclusive of all parts.
Q. What if my machine is lost or damaged in transit/ post?
A. All machines are insured by Berrys & a replacement Item would be sent should this ever arise.
Q. If we hire equipment will it be delivered & installed?
A. All prices quoted include delivery, installation & collection.
Q. If I book some hire equipment & then find it is not needed what notice do you require for cancellation?
A. If a cancellation is made anytime up until 5.30 pm the day before the hire is required no charges will be incurred.
Q. Can an engineer remain on site for the duration of a hire in the event of something going wrong?
A. Yes a qualified engineer can remain on site a charge will be made for this, which can be agreed between the client & Berrys.
